Structural Design & Multiphysics Simulation Engineer
Based in Yokohama, Japan
My work spans power electronics, automotive optics and consumer electronics, from mechanical concepts, 3D models and drawings to simulation, prototyping, testing and design iteration. I currently develop power module structures and packaging, using CATIA, COMSOL and parasitic-inductance tools for design, thermal-flow and thermal-stress analysis and loop-inductance optimization. Before that I worked on automotive lens NPI and customer support, and I have collaborated with engineers in China, Japan and Korea, using Japanese for technical communication.
